Dr. Krystal Lynn Couture, DPT, LAc
Dr. Krystal Lynn Couture, DPT, LAc, is an acupuncturist and physical therapist specializing in Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Pelvic Health, Pain Management and Facial Rejuvenation. As a seasoned acupuncturist, she brings to her practice a background steeped in both biomedical and traditional East Asian medical knowledge. She has an extensive formal background, with a Doctorate in physical therapy from Husson University as well as a Master of Science in acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Krystal fell in love with acupuncture because of its ability to treat the source of the dysfunction rather than the symptom. She is fascinated by the power of a needle. Her needling style includes Orthopedic Acupuncture (dry needling, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Five Element / Spiritual Acupuncture. She believes that the integration of these techniques can help one to access the roots of pain or dysfunction through the biomedical, internal medicine and spiritual / emotional lenses.
Dr. Krystal has been published in Acupuncture Today, Golden Flower Chinese Herbs, The Clinician and Medicinal Roots Magazine. She's been featured on Michelle Grasek's Acupuncture Marketing School Podcast, Qiological, The American Acupuncture Council, Hofstra Radio and Dao Labs.
In addition to her, Portsmouth NH practice, Dr. Krystal teaches Pelvic Health to Acupuncturists around the globe!
When outside the clinic and classroom, you can find her salsa dancing or sailing!
Katherine Winn, Acupuncture Intern
Katherine Winn is a soon-to-be licensed acupuncturist who brings heartfelt intention to her treatments. She earned her Master’s in Acupuncture from Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine and completed a year of clinical training under Dr. Krystal Lynn Couture, DPT, LAc. She has pursued additional training in Pelvic Acupuncture and Microneedling and continues expanding her knowledge in both biomedicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide thoughtful, integrative care.
Before entering the field of acupuncture, Katherine earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Emmanuel College and began her career in the corporate world. Feeling called toward a profession rooted in healing and human connection, she returned to school to pursue acupuncture.
Katherine is passionate about helping patients restore balance and reconnect with their bodies, especially when their symptoms feel dismissed, unexplained, or misaligned. She commonly works with endocrine imbalances, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal concerns, pain management, pelvic dysfunction and other common health concerns.
Her treatment style blends Traditional Chinese Medicine, dry needling and pelvic needling techniques, and Five Element/Spirit-based approaches. By thoughtfully integrating modalities within each session, she meets patients where they are while supporting sustainable, whole-person healing.
She also offers Facial Acupuncture and Microneedling to support radiant skin and internal balance, believing the face provides a powerful gateway to lift the Shen (spirit).
Outside the clinic, Katherine feels most at home by the ocean. You can often find her sailing or walking the beach with her rescue pup, Phoebe.
